Invitation to Nordic Police Shooting Championship2016

5. Travel information

Arrival Airport: Airport of Lennart Meri; TALLINN.

The delegations traveling by plane will be picked up at the Airport by the organiser and transported to the Hotel by shuttle bus.Distance from the airport to Hotel is 30 minutes. Distance from the Hotel to shooting gallery is 15minutes.

To minimize the costs, we will organize the opening ceremony and technical meeting on the day of arrival (15.09.2016).
Therefore, it is obligatory that participating nations will arrive to the Tallinn Airport no later than 3 o'clock p.m.

6. Competition rules.

NPC competition Rules together with ISSF’s Rules.

Each member association has the right to submit a maximum of20 participants and 2 coach and 1 trainer. Maximum 3 participants may start in each event.
If there are not enough athletes in the class (segment) for the event to be approved as a Nordic Championship (3 countries), the class (branch) is established as an open class.

12. Expenses/fees

12.1 Travelling expenses

Each member union will bear its travelling costs to Tallinn and back.

12.2 Board and lodging

Team

Registration fee for all participants and a delegate from each country in the Nordic Police Championship is 50 euros per person per day.

Should a member union intend to take guests with them to the Nordic Police Championships the organiser can provide the respective accommodation.

Each guest has to pay the actual costs, which is 100.- euro per night per person including all meals.

The invoice will be made by the organizer and must be paid before arrival.

13. Notes

13.1 Import regulations

13.1.1. The competitors have to come to Estonia for the competition with their weapons, ammunition and equipment, all of this transported according to the current transportation standards stipulated by the respective airline companies.

13.1.2. Bringing personal firearm to Estonia it’s necessary to have European Firearm Pass (EFP) and official invitation to the competition. If person can prove that he/she intends to participate in target shooting competition in the country he/she visits, there is no need for any other licenses beside EFP.

13.1.3. Bringing service weapons and ammunition to Estonia it’s necessary to have official invitation to the competition and the following information must be presented:

- Brand, model, caliber and serial number of the firearm. Name and quantity of ammunition
- Name and contacts of the person who brings firearm and ammunition to Estonia
- Dates of bringing the firearm and ammunition to Estonia, as well as dates of leaving
- Name of the country a firearm and ammunition is coming from
- Additional information what is considered important

13.2. Upon arrival at the competition venue (the shooting range of the Männiku, all weapons (in their containers) and all ammunition will be stored by the competitors of every delegation in the weapon storage. These weapons and ammunitions will be listed and guarded by the Estonian Defence League.

13.3.These weapons and ammunitions will be removed from the weapon storage by their respective holder prior to every competition in which he/she participates. After this competition, the weapon will be returned to the weapon storage after being checked by a person responsible for this task.

13.4.Weapons and ammunition will not be permitted on any of the premises (accommodation, restaurants, other premises and neighbouring public spaces).

13.5.No delegation member will be permitted to carry weapons or ammunition during non-competition times or while engaging in leisure activities, no matter whether on their person, in a container or a vehicle for transportation purposes.

13.2Shooting targets-paper targets.

Suis-Ascor electronic targets will be used only in 50m Rifle finals and 50m prone women.
