  1. a copy of the letter of acceptance to the PSP50916 Diploma in Interpreting (LOTE-English) course from NMTAFE
  2. proof of your Australian Citizenship or permanent residency (photocopy)
  3. a resume
  4. a letter of reference to support confirmation of your work as a practising interpreter
  5. a letter of reference to support your commitment to professional development and training (from an employer or non-government organisation).

Conditions

The nominee:

  • confirms they meet the eligibility and selection criteria for the scholarship
  • agrees to abide by the decisions of the selection panel and understands that no appeals will be entered into
  • understands that finalists shortlisted for the scholarship may be asked to provide details of an employer or community member for the purposes of obtaining a character reference
  • understands that the scholarship funds may only be used towards the course tuition and resource fees
  • is aware that continuation of the scholarship is dependent on the recipient maintaining satisfactory progress in their course. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, a recipient with unsatisfactory progress or who withdraws from their course will have their scholarship cancelled
