Committee Meeting Minutes

Club Financials

1. Bank balance to be confirmed by (PC) but around £12,000 stated at meeting.

2. Funding: a) £1,000 from the Jack Petchey Foundation courtesy of (SC)Currently on the (Silver Scheme) plus a further £3-400 through child nominations.

b) Football foundation £2-3000

c) Players Fee's £23,000

All per annum.

3. Sponsorship

a) Hampton Fuel Allotment's previous payment last season £12,000

b) £500- anyone connected with RBS

c) Club Sponsors-Gormet Burger, H7L Motors. The Red Lion, Polyrey, and Outsource Legal. Around £3,500 per year.

Currently looking for firms to commit :Massala Indian restaurant on Stanley RD mentioned as very keen by ( BC)
Qualifications

No new news: Simon Brook (SB)to arrange and explore any training e.g. level One Coaching Courses, Referee courses and First Aid through the Surrey FA.

End Of season Player Awards

Pool party booked for 3rd July at Hampton's Heated Open Air Pool, originally booked for £700 last season and now rising to £1.200 plus a further £2-300 extra for more life guards to be present if we have a large amount of attendances(Over 500).

Looking to get Hampton Pool to negotiate a free ice cream machine on the day.

Can we organize a celebrity to turn up on the day?

To be organize at the next committee meeting to be confirmed by (PC)

Tournaments

Hearts to host a tournament involving teams from the Tadworth youth League U8s to U10s. Date to be confirmed by (PC) possible June date.

Meeting date to be set to organize plans for tournament.

Pitches

1. All members to be on the look out for a new 11-aside Sunday pitches as currently we can not accommodate a third game on our pitches.

2. Looking to extend the season for 11-aside teams due to the current weather conditions. A) Squeeze games in over the Easter holiday Period.

B) Is Feltham an Option can we book for may. (DM) & (PC) to action.

C) (ST) to find out when Old Hamptonians bring their goals down at the end of season.

D) Hampton Rangers (Last Resort) we can book pitches for 12 noon.

Communications

Date to be set for members to sit down and organize what we want from our club Web Site, what can we do to make it more attractive to other users.

Date to be set by (PC) & (PS).

Social Events

1. Quiz night in the Red Lion or Twickenham Rugby club date set for Mid March TBC at next Meeting.

2. Set a date for a coaches night for FA cup final or during World cup finals-Beer and a curry suggested venue to be decided.

Facilities & Kit

1. Hearts have complete use of Twickenham Rugby Club on Friday evening where the older age groups from U10s to U15s can use facilities for midweek training.

2. Idea of offering a single membership fee which would include use of Twickenham rugby club social events & child's training.

3. Looking to move all training from Broom Road and moving to Twickenham Rugby Club in the future which would free up an 11 aside pitch which presently has not been used.

4. A new Floodlit football facilitity is currently being built in Whitton and we may have access to use on Tuesday nights for the older age groups - including Hearts veterans. Available around May.

Cost's TBC

Kit

1. New kit has been a big hit among players and coaches-a few teething problems with sizing but was to be expected.

2. (PC) to see if Kit contact (?) can organize any new shirt orders to be ordered direct through her, including a list of individual shirt numbers for each child in there age groups.

Sponsors

1. H&L Motors have not had any customers associated with Hearts come in to there shop.

2. How can we let parents know that they can get a discount on MOTs, idea of a voucher system(booklet) discussed which would include all sponsors to be passed on to all parents

3. Can sponsors give a mention about our club on there websites, this may generate more customers.

4. Could we look to being affiliated to another club?

Recruitment

1. The girls team are short on players and would require more to make up 2-3 teams. All inquiries to be made through (BC)

CRB

1. The club currently have 30 coach/helpers who still need to be CRB (PC) to send out a final e-mail chaser.

2. Coach /Helpers who's forms are sent and awaiting Disclosure are ok to carry on in the club.

3. There will be a final CRB night in the Red Lion in the 2nd week off February for all who still need to fill in a form and have your details checked by either David Clark or James Farrell.

4. If after this period and you still have not completed all the relevant requirements you will no longer be able to continue to Coach or help out with your age group at Hearts.

At the next committee meeting we are looking to introduce a mini's Chairman to take the lead in dealing with all enquires regarding the Tadworth League. Also a Junior Manager who can manage and organize training through out the club, kit and small meeting with Coaches/managers regarding the transition from U7 to U8s(Tadworth) and U10s to U11s for 11 aside teams including pitch allocations.
