What’s 2 Eat is now offering cooking party activities for Ages 3–5, that can be set up wherever your party is being held. What’s 2 Eat will entertain the kids with a cooking activity that lasts approximately an hour from start to finish. In What’s 2 Eat fashion, this unique cooking experience aims to show the kids that healthier cooking can be fun as well as tasty.

A friendlyWhat’s 2 Eatcooking assistant will set up everything that is needed from thekiddy height tables to all the kitchen bowls and utensils, as well as a dedicated washing-hands bowl.

The activity involves the kids making and decorating their own cakes to take home with them. When you make your party booking, you can choose between a low sugar “Milkshake” cake (banana) or a Beetroot Cake. You will also have a choice between a star shape or a man/bear shaped cake mould. All cake ingredients and decoration toppings will be provided.

The What’s 2 Eatcooking assistant will guide the kids step by step through the process of measuring the ingredients, stirring and pouring their cake mix into the moulds. A few mom volunteers may be asked to help the kids stay focused on the job at hand.

Fun along the way includes using measuring cups andspecial whisks, mixing, and learning how to crack eggs successfully. The kids are also encouraged to smell and feel the raw ingredients. They learn good cooking hygiene by washing and drying their hands regularly. Everyone gets to wear special aprons and chef hats – a great photo opportunity!

Once the cakes are baking (only the use of a microwave is needed for this), the kids will take a break to play a party game or two. You can haveyour own gamesorganisedif you prefer, or discuss some options with What’s 2 Eat.

After the cakes have cooled enough, the kids will return to the table to have fun decorating their cakes with tasty lollies.A layer of homemade jam keeps the lollies in place – the What’s 2 Eat alternative to icing. Tummies will be rumbling, so it’s a good idea to have your party food good to go as soon as the kids have finished their decorating.

The cakes will be individually wrapped in plastic, ready for the kids to take home with them at the end of the party. And What’s 2 Eatwill take care of all the cleaning up.

A What’s 2 Eatcooking party activity is guaranteed to be a fun and unique addition to your party. The birthday child receives a special gift too.
