STELLA LEE BOLIN

Stella Bolin was born November 16, 1916 to Joseph Henry Conway and Lillie Mae Swiney. She went to be with the Lord on February 26, 2004 at St. JohnRegionalHealthCenter in Springfield, Mo. at the age of 87 years. She was married to Leonard Erwin Bolin on December 7, 1933 at Salem, Mo. and to this union a son and daughter were born. She is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Sue Reed, Irene Volner, Kathryn Vansicle; two brothers, Paul Conway and Homer Myers. She is survived by one sister, Mildred Brown of Pensacola, Fla.; one son, Don Bolin, and one daughter-in-law, Joyce Bolin, of Eminence; one daughter, Maryann Hampton and one son-in-law, Robert Hampton, of the home. She is also survived by her five grandchildren; James Bolin, Tim Bolin, Janet Harman, Kathy Shellhorn, and Kim Hensley; 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Stella was a beautician for several years after marriage, in Eminence. Later she and her husband started the Eminence Lumber Company and owned and operated it for several years. They also were the owners of Circle B Campground Resort on the Jacks Fork river for 13 years, where many happy memories were made. Stella accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and became a member of the First Baptist Church of Eminence. After the passing of her husband Leonard, she moved with her daughter and family to Stockton, Mo. Stella then faithfully attended First Southern Baptist Church until the time of her death. She always pleased the Lord in everything she did. Her close walk with God gave her great strength and through her strength, she continually blessed the lives of others. Survivors include a son, Don Bolin and his wife Joyce, of Eminence; a daughter, Maryann Hampton and her husband Robert, of Stockton; a sister, Mildred Brown, of Pensacola, Fla.; five grandchildren, James Bolin, Tim Bolin, Janet Harman, Kathy Shellhorn and Kim Hensley; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Henry Conway and Lillie Mae Swiney; three sisters, Sue Reed, Irene Volner and Kathryn Vansicle; and two brothers, Paul Conway and Homer Myers. Services were Saturday, February 28 at Brumback Funeral Home, with burial in MunsellChapelCemetery, Eminence, under the direction of Brumback Funeral Home.
