June12-16Week 1: SHOW US YOUR CAMP SPIRIT-Show us your Camp Spirit through team banners, goofy hats, crazy socks, minute to win it games, jello contests, friendship circles, trail mix, wacky relays, sports clinics, color wars, and more.

June19-23Week 2: AARGH MATEY!-Have some swashbuckling pirate fun! Use maps to find lost treasure, pirate hats/eye patches/sand art, try shipwreck stew, capture the pirate flag, and survive the cannonball attacks through the obstacle course to find your way safely home.

  • Wacky Wednesday: Pirate/Princess Day

June26-30 Week 3:Food Frenzy-Plan a trip to the local grocery store. Bake goodies for the children, and put together a camp-wide bake sale. Divide the whole camp into groups that represent countries. Each team will create a cuisine from their assigned nation.

July 3-7 Week 4:MESSY OLYMPICS-Join us as we kick-off the Olympic games of goo, slime, slop, goop, and gunk. Campers will compete in games designed to be messy - ding dong baseball, flour wars, and Olympics of the mouth will highlight this gross time of fun. Tie Dye a T-shirt

July10-14Week 5: STEM AND SUPER SOUND-Explore the fascinating world of science and technology through hands-on experiments including hands-on, minds-on museum that inspires imagination, discovery and learning.*PARENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND* ASK DIRECTOR FOR MORE DETAILS.

July17-20Week 6:CAMPER SKILLS-Calling all superstars to step into the spotlight and showcase your talents through skits, games, dance, music and creative arts, as well learn about sounds and circuits. Enter the Talent Show and show us the Next Big Thing. (Parents are welcome to attend Talent Show – check with Camp Director for details)

July24-28Week 7:BACKYARD BASH-Enjoy the great outdoors as we partake in summertime classic games like tug-of-war, kickball, foursquare, hopscotch, lawn games, nature crafts, picnics, recycling projects, s'mores, and a BBQ bash to end the week. (Parents invited to BBQ bash)

July31-Aug4Week 8: WATER, WATER EVERYWHERE-Join us for our Rockin’ Beach Party with hula hoop games, water balloon piñata, duck duck splash, water slides, water gun wars and a watermelon contest with Luau on Friday.

Aug7-11Week 9:SUPERHEROES-Meet and salute real life superheroes, take the Superhero character challenge, dress up as favorite superhero, Superhero games/crafts and lend a hand as we pay it forward thru community service and create the hero in all of us.

  • Wacky Wednesday: Dress-up as a superhero

Aug14-18Week 10:SURVIVE IT-Can your team survive it? Create Team Flags, Decipher codes, Scavenger Hunts, Noodle tag, Got It, ultimate Frisbee, Tye Dye bandanas, Tug of War, Tribal team competitions and Immunity Challenges, Color Wars.

Aug21-23Week 11:CELEBRATIONS- (Camp Hyde only) It’s time to wrap us the summer with all our friends. Celebrate each day with favorite moments like Art Day, Slimy Activities, Water Gun Wars, Cooking Craze, Sports Clinics, and a Color War.

Returning Families

If your family is currently enrolled at Ms. Jo’s Childcare please give notice that your child will attend camp. This will ensure their spot will not be given away in the program. Please give notice no later than May 15, 2017

Payments All camp fees must be paid in full at registration by cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover).

$16.00 Weekly

Prices include meals, trips, and T-shirts

Begins Wednesday, March 9. Families may register the following ways:

Mail your registration packet or bring it to the office located at 30 South Railroad St. Parkton NC 28371

Registration for camp sessions must be received by the Wednesday before the session begins

$15.00 Daily Rate

Prices include meals, trips and T-shirts.

Absences

Refunds are not available for vacations, special events, short-term illnesses of four or fewer days or other personal commitments that prevent attendance.

Dismissal From Camp

There are times when the camp must dismiss a child due to psychological, emotional, or physical challenges or actions that preclude the child from participating safely or effectively in a group. If appropriate, this will result in a complete refund for the unused days. If a camper is dismissed for disciplinary reasons, there will be NO REFUND for the unused days.

Camp opens at 8:30am -4:30 pm extended care hours are also offered.
