Implementing Executive Order 13807:

Establishing Discipline & Accountability in the Environmental Review and Permitting Process

Wednesday, October 18, 2017 | 3:00-4:30pm (ET)

Register here:

This webinar will provide an overview of Executive Order 13807: Establishing Discipline and Accountability in the Environmental Review and Permitting Process, which was signed by President Trump on August 15, 2017. The purpose of this Order is to change the way the federal government processes environmental reviews and authorization decisions for infrastructure projects as a means to transform our economy. The panel will describe actions being taken to implement the Order including the White House Council on Environmental Quality's (CEQ) initial list of actions published in the Federal Register on September 14, 2017, as well as the Department of the Interior's Secretarial Order 3355 issued on August 31, 2017 that requires firm page and time limits for Environmental Impact Statements. The panel will also share perspectives on streamlining and best practices that have proven to accelerate and improve the federal environmental review and decision-making process.
