Preschool Portfolios – Creativity Sample

Notes: This page allows teachers to enter information in to the digital portfolio pages via the observation by student, observation by indicator, or final ratings pages. When using the observation pages, please make sure your pop-ups are enabled as the portfolio pages will automatically pop up for indicators: 7.2; 8.3; and 12.1. Portfolio pages for indicator 13.1 can be accessed from the home page.

Entering Creativity Sample Portfolio Information

  1. From the Home Page, click “Creativity Sample.”

  1. Select Student from drop-down. Enter notes in “Anecdotal note” section. Use check boxes to “Select Creative Expressions.” NOTE: You cannot attach a digital picture on this page. You will be able to insert digital pictures from the Reports page.
  1. Click “Save” to save your work. You will see “Save successfully” message next to the Save button if all information was saved correctly.

Editing Creativity Samples

  1. Select the student who’s information you would like to revise using the drop-down.

  1. Revise/edit your anecdotal notes in the “Anecdotal notes” box. Select/edit the work sample by selecting the checkboxes next to each type of sample.

  1. Select “Save” to save your revisions. You will see “Save successfully” message next to the Save button if all information was saved correctly.

Printing Creativity Sample Reports and Attaching Images

  1. From the Home Page, select “PreK Reports.”
  1. Select “PreK Creativity Report” from “Select Report” dropdown menu.
  1. Select “Run Report.”
  1. Select a student from the “Select Student” dropdown menu. Select “View Report.”
  1. Select blue Export icon to choose the format you would like to use. NOTE: If you are planning to insert digital photos, please export as Word. The download will either pop-up or show in your browser. Please save or open the file and print using the program print option.

  1. To add photos, please insert the photo using Insert options in Word.
