Dr. T. Rama Devi is guiding research scholars of Acharya Nagarjuna University, Madurai Kamaraj University, Annamalai University, and Manan Manium Sundarnar University. Under her guidance 1 Ph.D and 5 M.Phils were awarded and at present she is guiding 5 Ph.D and 7 M.Phil scholars.

1.  100% BBM and Hotel Management students have undergone industrial training for two months and submitted projects to the department after completing their training.

2.  The department collaborated with Syndicate Bank to train the students to acquire practical knowledge, M/S Brahmayya and Co, M/S Suresh and Babu, M/S Prasad and Co, Charted Accountants, Vijayawada to train the students to acquire practical knowledge.

·  Faculty:

1.  Dr.T. Vijaya Lakshmi, Principal received the Best Teacher Award from the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the year 2012.

2.  She also received an award from the District Collector for rendering meritorious services while discharging the duties.

3.  Dr. T.Rama Devi received the Best Teacher Award from the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the year 2006.

4.  The Department received The Best Department award in Humanities from 2008-09 to2011-12.

1.  Miss. N. Tripura, Miss. Sapna Jain, Miss. K.Ambika, Miss. B.Mounika received “Parvathaneni Brahmayya Memorial Gold Medal” for securing highest marks in public examinations.
