Michael L. Lewin, MD

Dr. Lewin has been a practicing allergist for the past 25 years, specializing in identifying the cause and treatment and allergies in both adult and pediatric patients. He was trained in and has practiced classic injection immunotherapy throughout his career --- personally delivering more than a quarter million allergy shots during that time. During the course of his ongoing research and investigation into advances in allergy care, Dr. Lewin became interested in sublingual immunotherapy, or allergy drops, as an effective alternative for many of his patients who could not, or would not, be candidates for allergy shots. He trained with Allergy Associates of La Crosse in delivering the La Crosse Method protocols for sublingual immunotherapy.

Dr. Lewin was the recipient of the prestigious National Institute of Health Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship. He served as Special Fellow in Immunobiology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Institute in New York.
