Cell Metaphor Poster

Task: Your task is to design a metaphor between a plant or animal cell, and some sort of place you are familiar with. A metaphor is when you use something that is not literally similar to represent something else. An example would be: A cell is a school with all of the organelles in the cell working together the like the elements of the school do, so it can run smoothly.

Extra Information:

ü  You need to not only create a metaphor for the cell, but also have to have all of the organelles accounted for.

ü  You will choose a plant or animal cell, by using the opposite of what you are doing for your cell project.

ü  Your poster should have a title that provides a metaphor statement for the whole cell.

ü  You will need to have a drawing in color of your cell, and a drawing in color of the place you are comparing to the cell

ü  Your poster should be divided up similar to the example below

Required organelles for Plant Cell Required Organelles for Animal Cell
