Researchers working within the Clinical Research Facility, Royal Devon & Exeter Foundation Trust and University of Exeter may ask the Peninsula Research Bank (PRB) Steering Committee for permission for their study information to be sent to specific sub-cohorts of volunteers within the Peninsula Research Bank. Before any contact can be made with volunteers, evidence of scientific review and ethical approval must be supplied to the Peninsula Research Bank Data Manager.

In order to determine how many volunteers in the PRB meet your inclusion/exclusion criteria, please complete the “Extend Criteria Form” and send it to Tina Libretto (). Once you know how many volunteers are suitable for your study, please complete the application below which will be vetted by the PRB steering committee on a monthly basis. Please send this form to Claire Falck early as possible to ensure that contact of volunteers is approved before you need to recruit.

Please note: If you are storing samples, you MUST contact Gail Seymour () or Jackie Whatmore () regarding material transfer agreements.

Declaration: I understand that if I am put in contact with volunteers through the Peninsula Research Bank, I must not keep these contact details on any other volunteer database. Also, I should only contact these volunteers again if given permission by the Peninsula Research Bank, as this will ensure that volunteers are only contacted at an acceptable frequency and are not bombarded by requests from multiple researchers. I understand that I am also required to provide updated information on volunteers to the Peninsula Research Bank, to ensure that records remain accurate.
