School hours:

8:30 - 11:15 or 12:45 - 3:15Prekindergarten, EC3, EC4, CLS3, and CLS4 classes are all half-day programs
Students must arrive at school by 8:30. Students who eat breakfast at school can enter the building at 8:25. Parents are reminded not to drop students off at school too early because there is no adult supervision available until school begins at 8:30.
Dismissal procedures:
School dismisses at 3:15. Bus riders report to the school lobby and walkers leave the building from their outside classroom doors or in the lobby.
Lunch, Breakfast, Snacks:
All Baltimore County Public Schools provide a hot meal every day which can be purchased by students. Menus are sent home with students every month. Breakfasts cost $1.40, lunches cost $2.90, and milk can be purchased for $.60. Other items are also available for purchase. Money may be placed on student lunch accounts. Applications for free and reduced price lunches are sent home with all students the first day of school (please allow at least 2 weeks for processing).
Parent/Teacher Conferences:
In order to maintain a safe school environment, all visitors to our building must report to the front office. You must have a photo identification in order to visit a classroom, the cafeteria, or the nurse. If you would like to conference with a teacher (classroom or special area), please contact the teacher to establish a mutually convenient conference date in advance.
Health Issues:
During enrollment, you will be requested to complete various health forms for our school nurse. Any health issues regarding your child should be brought to the attention of the nurse and any questions may be directed to her. All medications given by the nurse during the school day must have a corresponding current doctor’s order and MUST be brought to school by an adult--students may not bring their own medications to school. If a student is to be excused from participating in physical education longer than one week, a doctor’s note will be required before the student may re-enter physical education class.
School Closure Information:
In the event that Baltimore County Public Schools should need to close early due to inclement weather or other reason, closures will be announced on WBAL Radio (1090, AM dial) and local TV stations. Current closing information is also available on the BCPS Now App, or at 410-887-5555 or NOTE: Padonia is not located in the Hereford Zone.
Parking:
We currently do not have a parking lot due to construction. We ask that visitors park on Greenside Drive in front of the school or on Galloway Road along the side of the school. Visitors are asked not to park in the driveway because buses use the school driveway at various times during the day and it is a fire lane.
PTA:
If you would like to be involved in our PTA, please let us know and we’ll refer you to a PTA Board Member.
