Revit Plug-In Installation
Important Note: Before starting installation be sure to close your Revit session
Click the Revit Download link located on the Titus Web site.
Click on the Open button in the small window that opens.
Click on File and select ExtractAll from the upper left corner of the window.
Select Next from the Extraction Wizard window, and click on the Next button to extract the files.
Verify there is a check in “Show extracted files” box, and then click on the Finish button.
When a new window will appears, double click on the titus_revit.exe icon.
Click on the text “Click Here for…” to start the installation process.
You should see a typical download window after clicking on “Click Here for…” If not, a Virus popup might be hidden behind your other windows. Just move the other windows to the side and click on its Run button.
Click on the Next button to Read the EULA.
If you accept the terms select “I accept…”, and then select Next.
When you click on the Finish button the installation is complete.
Importing Titus Content
Open a Revit MEP Project.
To add Titus Content look at the top of the Revit window near File, Edit, View and Window to select TitusContent.
Select Library from the dropdown menu.
The Library option will load the Revit Content Browser below. The Browser allows you to selectively add only the Titus products needed for the Project.Click on the ListView tab and then select a product category from the “Air Terminal Units” dropdown list.
From the List-View tab, find your needed Terminal Unit configuration by using the Beginning, End, Forward or Back controls shown above. Select a product by clicking on the “Add to Cart” icon.Make sure you select the product with the correct voltage. There are no charges for downloading Titus content.
Once all of your Titus products have been added to the Cart, click on Items to Download.
While Revit content is downloading, you will see the screen below.
Next, a dialog box will appear displaying all of your selected products. Click on the Next button to continue.
To verify products were imported into your project, expand the Families category in the Project Browser. In the Mechanical Equipment category, the Titus products are listed.
If Titus content does not appear in Mechanical Equipment, then make sure your firewall has IP port 7777 open.
