20+ Book Club

Mrs. Stock, the media specialist, and Mrs. Shorts, the media assistant at Monocacy Elementary School are sponsoring a reading club at school to encourage students to read in their spare time. The goal is for students to read at least 20 books at their level by the end of the year. Entry forms with an explanation of the reading program are in this Thursday’s home folder. After they’ve signed it, students should return the entry form to the media center and keep the book list form for parents to initial each time a student has finished a book. We hope this will be a fun way for students to monitor their time and reading preferences.
