Retrofiteed thermal oxidizer with a heat recovery boiler. Retrofitted a foul condensate scrubber with a reboiler for energy savings.

Studies in Brazil to upgrade capcity on three chemical recovery boilers and completed one upgrade.

Retrofitted and added LVHC systems to comply with methanol recovery and destruction under MACT I 2001 requirements. Studied and estimated the MACT I 2006 requirements for the same mill.

Managed the operation of the power plant, chemical recovery boiler and evaporators, including the recausticizing plant and mill environmental department. 1986-1989

Managed the Rieboro mill capital spending program and annual project implementation. Rebuilt the recovery boiler to a low odor design. Rebuilt the mill OCC recycled fiber plant. Added LVHC gas collection and incineration systems including the first vacuum condensate stripper. Invented and installed the first ever black liquor crystal reactor to improve the evaporation plant.Also assisted in the Reading, PA mill capital project for the power plant and paper machines. 1989-1996
