POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Purpose
Is responsible for the upkeep of the (insert Name) Netball Centre/Courts
Knowledge/Skills
- Basic handyman
- Basic gardening
- General Court Maintenance
Responsibilities and Duties
- Empty all Bins and take out bins for rubbish collection
- Pick up rubbish on courts, grass areas, along fence line and walkways
- Court sweeping of all courts as required
- Cleaning of outside male and female toilets and refill toilet paper and hand towel dispensers as required
- Refill indoor female toilet paper and hand towel dispensers as required
- Pick up toilet paper /paper towels and any other rubbish from all toilets
- Unblock any toilets blocked/congested with toilet paper if required or report maintenance requirements
- Stocktake of toilet paper/ hand towels and garbage bags and replenish when needed
- Lawnmowing of some grassed areas, that council does not
- Weeding of garden bed, between pavements, outside courtyard and hallway corridor
- Prune, manure and general care of roses and garden beds
- Control ants. Sprinkle ant dust when necessary between pavements and grounds
- Replace broken netball ring nets
- Replace light globes as required
- Remove cobwebs inside and outside of building
- Sweep hall and set up of hall for bookings
- Accept orders and arrange the stock in an orderly manner
- Sweep or blow the undercover front and back patios
- General basic painting as required
- Basic maintenance- replace tap washers etc.
- Trim any branches growing close to the building gutters. (ask council for assistance)
- Trim other bushes as required (may ask council for assistance)
- Identify any graffiti and vandalism and report to office
- Maintain and clean grounds during and after Carnivals
- Replace barbeque gas bottle during the winter season when needed
- Report any damaged goalposts etc. to office
- Report and arrange for maintenance to be completed

Required Criminal Record Checks:
- Working with Children Check (if usual duties involve, or are likely to involve, contact with a child (under 18))
- Volunteer National Police Certificate (if unpaid) OR
- National Police Certificate (if paid)
- Conduct Qualification Check
- Conduct Interview, including proof of identify check
- Conduct Reference Check
- Attain signature on Netball WA’s Member Protection Declaration (if NWA Member)
