CHART pages - Information MUST be accurate, neat and colorful; State Flags MUST be computer images; the background of rows A and B must be shaded red (light color pencil shading is fine) the background of row C must be left white; the background of rows D and E must be shaded blue (light color pencil shading is fine); complete the chart information for each President – NEATNESS IS VERY IMPORTANT

A. Order of President – ex. Washington was #1 and years in office – ex. 1789-1796
B. State flag of President’s origin – ex. Washington is Virginia

C. Political Party represented and running mate – ex Washington was a Federalist; Vice President – ex. Washington’s VP was John Adams
D. Political Highlights – Examples are Jay’s Treaty signed in London, 1794; Whiskey Rebellion, 1794; Pinckney’s Treaty signed in Madrid, 1795; added several new states to the Union
E. Fun fact – at least one fun fact you learned while researching; example the father of his country had no children of his own (aside from adoptive children); avoid the obvious and try to be original. (something no one else will use)
RANKING page – follow the template I have provided for you and be prepared to explain your rankings to me if I ask you to; 32 POINTS
CITATIONS page – Provide 4 citations of websites you used to complete your project, and provide a list of ALL websites used. 100 POINTS
Final packet must be in chronological order - pages 1-4 – (you will have 4 Presidents on each page and four pages to learn about the 16 Presidents who governed the United States through 1865; by adding your required title page, ranking page, citations page and rubric that makes it an 8-page packet, 9 pages if you choose to pick 4 presidents after 1865).
The packet is due on Monday, March 27, but will be accepted early; reminder that it is worth 300 points.
