Thank you for your interest in this post. We are a vibrant, young charity that is transforming the lives of thousands of local people living in central and west London each year.

We work mainly but not exclusively in the tri-borough (Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea and Hammersmith and Fulham). Although these are some of the wealthiest areas of the country they also contain some of the most disadvantaged neighbourhoods. Nowhere is the gap between rich and poor greater. Octavia Foundation focuses on meeting the needs of the whole community, working with people of all ages and providing an incredibly wide and varied range of projects.

Our priorities for the coming year are:

·  To expand our work with young people, working in partnership with Octavia Housing to deliver an exciting youth programme from a brand new building in the heart of Notting Hill

·  To deliver a high quality digital media programme, providing unique training opportunities for young people and bringing the generations together

·  To continue to make a difference to the lives of local older people through our volunteer befriending programme

·  To support the delivery of a new partnership project, offering volunteering opportunities to those seeking employment

You will be responsible for all our project delivery staff, directly managing 4 dedicated Programme Managers.

You will be a collaborative, experienced and empowering senior manager with a strong track-record and commitment to getting the very best out of your team, promoting a culture of learning and development, continuous improvement, value for money and empathy for our service users.

You will provide maternity leave cover for our Deputy Director who has been with the Foundation for nine years and been instrumental in our growth and development and in delivering the high quality outcomes that we are known for locally.

This is a really exciting role that can make a significant difference to the lives of local people and comes at a crucial time for us as we celebrate our tenth anniversary.
