Canisteo Crazee Daze

June 7th, 8th and 9th, 2018

Plans are underway for the annual CANISTEO CRAZEE DAZE!!! This year’s event will be filled with activities, events and fun! You are cordially invited to lease concession space. The Arts and Crafts, Vendor, Flea Market and Concession displays will be Thursday and Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will be held in the downtown vicinity, close to the action, rain or shine. Kickoff will be Thursday afternoon when the streets are lined with hundreds of people before and after the kickoff parade and will provide an excellent opportunity for you to gain maximum exposure to your products. The full array of events will bring hundreds of visitors to Canisteo and to your booth.

Here are the particulars (see the contract for more specifics):

 Space rental is $75. Full payment via check or money order must accompany the completed contract postmarked no later than April 30, 2018 to reserve a space.

 Your fee covers rental for the two days and vendors are required to stay for both days.

 Checks must be made out to CCSG, Inc. and there is a returned check fee is $35.

 Exhibit spaces are approximately 15 x 10 feet to allow for the use of protective flies and tents within the space assigned. If your set up takes more than the space allocated, you must purchase an additional space for $75. Each additional 10x15 space is $75.

 Electrical outlets (110 volts) are limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

 All spaces are outdoors and space assignments will be made on a first-come, first-served basis when contract and payment are received.

 Check in and set up will be between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday.

 After check in, you will be asked to move your vehicle and no parking will be available to vendors around the perimeter of the event. Parking will be provided in nearby parking lots.

 Please return a signed copy of the contract with payment.

CANISTEO CRAZEE DAZE CONTRACT

PLEASE RETURN THIS CONTRACT, WITH CHECK OR MONEY ORDER PAYABLE TO: Canisteo Community Support Group (CCSG) and mail to: Village of Canisteo 8 Green St. Canisteo, NY 14823

I______, the undersigned do hereby agree to lease exhibit space at the Canisteo Crazee Daze to exhibit and sell merchandise on June 7th and 8th, 2018 to be held in the village of Canisteo, NY 14823. Vendors are required to stay both days from 4-9pm.

I waive and release any and all rights and claims for damage or injuries which may hereafter accrue to me against the Canisteo Community Support Group, it’s members, officers, agents of the Village of Canisteo or Town of Canisteo for any damages or injuries which may be incurred by me in connection with my association with, entry in, or return from said event.

Selling directly from any vehicles within or around the edge of the park is prohibited. It is understood all exhibitors will furnish their own tables and /or display equipment, flies or tents. Electric is limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Approximately 15 feet of display frontage per space will be allotted each exhibitor. Spaces are approximately 10 feet deep. Exhibitors must keep all parts of display within assigned space. You are expected to unload your vehicle from the nearest roadway and remove it to the parking area prior to setting up.

Food vendors must enclose with this signed contract, a certificate of liability insurance providing adequate limits including product liability and naming the Canisteo Community Support Group, Inc. as an additional insured for primary coverage. You must have an up-to-date Steuben County Food Permit posted.

Alcoholic beverages, rummage or used clothing, pets, firearms, knives (except for kitchen cutlery), swords, unsafe articles, pea shooters, snappers, tirebats, caps, fireworks, satanic paraphernalia, whips, foul smelling spray, drug paraphernalia etc. will not be permitted on the premises, or on sale in the exhibit area. Other objectionable items will not be permitted under the discretion of the CCSG, Inc.

Registration and Set-Up Time is after 9 a.m. and before 2 p.m. Thursday. You will receive your space assignment when you arrive.

The fee for participating is $75 per space. There will be a $35.00 fee for each returned check. Spaces are pre-assigned and will not be changed. If space is not available, your check or money order will be returned. NO REFUND unless we are unable to honor your request.
