Maryland studentsused their artistic talents to share their understanding of the diversity of Maryland agriculture and the impact agriculture has oneveryone's daily lives. The contest was open to all public, private and home school students in grades K-12. Winners received a $50 prize.
The Foundation thanks all of the students who submitted posters and congratulations again to this year's winners.Next year’s contest will be available in August.

The Maryland Agricultural Education Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1989 as recommended by a Governor’s Task Force. Our mission, “Promote the understanding and appreciation of the importance of agriculture in our daily lives,” is executed through many educational and promotional programs. Mobile science labs, Ag in the Classroom Workshops, teacher training, teacher resources, and programs supporting FFA, secondary and post-secondary education are among our outreach efforts. The Foundation is funded by generous donations and contributions from individuals, organizations, institutions and revenues from the Maryland Agricultural License Plate (Ag Tag).
