Day 1:

8:00 am: Enjoy breakfast in our Artisan Café

11:00am-4:00pm: Guided Interpretive Hike

This tour is for the more fit travelers. This narrated, interpretive hike climbs into the alpine and explores the glacier topology in depth. The extended time on the ground gives the group a chance to see the forested area near the Nenana River, the brushy but wildlife rich, sub-alpine tundra, and thegorgeousviews andhighlyadapted vegetation of the alpine tundra.The length of this trip is more flexible as well. Hikes will probably run longer when the weather is nice. The guides will also provide food but heavy eaters are encouraged to bring food along. Group size has an absolute maximum of 6 people. Estimated time of hike: 4.5 hours. Hike times can vary. Please allow 6 hours for this tour. Hiking Level: Strenuous

Day 3:

5:30am: Breakfast in our Artisan Café or pick up your To-Go Breakfast

6:00AM— This Kantishna tour departs from the Park entrance by bus. You will travel up close into the heart of Denali along the 93-mile Park road onthe most comfortable busesin the Park. Experienced driver/guides will help you discover Alaska's premier wildlife habitat, from the taiga forest to the tundra. The road's last 30 miles may allow unobstructed views of the great mountain, Denali. This Kantishna wilderness tour frequently includes grizzly bear, caribou, Dall sheep and moose. You even may be fortunate to spot a wolf.
NOON— Arrive at the Kantishna Roadhouse (KWT) or the Denali Backcountry Lodge (DBA) for a hearty, home-cooked lunch. You can try your hand at gold panning, relax on the riverbank of Moose Creek, or you can participate in other guided activities.
3:00 PM— Return to the Park entrance via a 35-minute scenic flight. When weather permits, the 55-minute scenic fly-by will take you to the north face of Denali, then traverse the expansive Muldrow Glacier and follow the spine of the magnificent Alaska Range to Denali Park's train and bus depot. Shuttles are available to take you back to your accommodations.

Take a leisurely day to explore the Denali Park Visitor Center and the Murie Science and Learning Center. Enjoya Ranger-lead program.

Take a scenic drive out to the Savage River for a short hike and picnic.

Day 5:

7:00am: Enjoy breakfast in our Artisan Café

8:00am-4:00pm: Packrafting Trip: Packrafts are lightweight and stable boats you can carry easily. They allow for rapid wilderness travel, and are really fun to paddle. Hike through the wilderness to a stunning mountain stream and float by the majestic peaks of the Alaska Range on this all day tour. Alaska is the home of packrafting, and our rivers are perfect for it.Difficulty level: A most strenuous trip. This trip involves hours of physical activity, walking and paddling in a wilderness setting. This does not necessarily require great fitness, but the strength to move oneself across the water for multiple hours is an absolute minimum. These wilderness trips are sometimes far from any road. We are there to help and guide as well as interpret the surroundings, but this long trip is powered by the traveler alone. As with all our trips, enjoyment is the ultimate goal; any active person can do this trip.

Day 6:

6:30am: Breakfast at our Artisan Cafe

7:15am-4:15pm: Flyfishing: June 1-Sept 1 for grayling /July 10th-Sept 15th for rainbow trout A full day allows time for travel to the area’s streams for an 8-hour day chasing arctic grayling on the Denali Highway or rainbow trout South of Broad Pass on Denali National Parks South Eastern border. Weather conditions and season will dictate where the best fishing can be found. Lessons and equipment are provided as well as a sack lunch. 8.5 hours

Day 7:

7:00am: Breakfast at our Artisan Café

8:00-9:30am: Stretch your legs on the Triple Lakes Trail for a local, morning hike

11:00am: CHECK OUT

Noon: On your drive south to Talkeetna or Anchorage, stop in and experience Dog Gone It Tours in Cantwell. Your adventure will bring you to one of the oldest remaining homesteads in Denali. Visit a competitive racing sled dog operation, hold puppies, witness sled dogs in action and learn what it is like to live an Alaskan lifestyle with some of the

world’s greatest athletes

Noon: Half Day Paddle Raft Trip: This 4 hour (22 mile) Alaska whitewater raft adventure combines the Scenic Wilderness and Canyon Run river trips. Experience a Nenana River rafting adventure you may never forget with class II through class IV whitewater rapids (minimum age required is 14 years old). Begin your adventure in search of wildlife and finish with Wildwater.
