  • Every pupil will be able to write a good CV. The lesser able should be encouraged to write in bullet-point from whereas the more able should be able to write paragraphs.
  • This task is the basis to the application letter. All that remains is to link their details formally and learn the form of a letter.

  2. Click to reveal reassurance that pupils will easily be able to write such a letter!
  3. Click to reveal a breakdown of the letter; the subject of each paragraph.
  4. Point out to pupils that they can already write about the majority of these subjects. The ones remaining are short and easily learnt quickly.
  5. Clicking on any of these will link to another slide where that part will be highlighted
  6. Any link to the CV will be shown, demonstrating to pupils how much of the work has already been completed.
  7. Some parts will have a short task to aid pupils in their writing.
  8. Ask pupils to write each part of the letter as you go along.

  • This task is easily achieved, ensure that pupils are reassured of this.
  • Point out that most of the work for this task has already been completed in this topic; it is now merely brining everything together.
