Dear Business Owner, Manager or Representative:
The Oaks Corners Fire Department is once again hosting its annual Golf Tournament as means of raising money for our department on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the Big Oak Golf Course on Packwood Road (Town of Phelps) starting at 8:00 am.
As in year’s past, we are asking our local businesses and service providers for assistance in financially supporting our event. We have a tiered sponsorship program for our tournament:
n “BRONZE” Level Sponsor: $50.00 Donation
o Your company name would be placed on a sign posted at one of the tee areas on the course.
n “SILVER” Level Sponsor: $100.00 Donation
o Sign with your company name placed at one of the tee areas
o Your company name would be placed with others at this Level on a sign displayed at our “Hot Dogs on the Turn” area at the clubhouse.
n “GOLD” Level Sponsor: $150.00 Donation
o Sign with your company name placed at one of the tee areas
o Company name placed with others at this Level on a sign at the “Hot Dogs on the Turn” area at the clubhouse
o Company name would be placed on signage associated with our tournament beverage carts and tournament staff vehicles that are prominent on the course throughout the day.
n “Services in Kind” Sponsorship
o If your business would rather donate products or services to the tournament, please contact any the Committee Chair with your suggestions. Your business would be recognized at the Sponsor Level of what your donated services would be worth. (For example, if your business donated supplies totaling $50, your business would receive a “BRONZE” Level Sponsor sign on the course.)
n Door Prize Donations: If your business would be willing to donate door prizes for our tournament participants, we would be especially grateful!
Any and all sponsors and contributors to “The Oaks Corners Classic” are recognized in the tournament program, at the Firehouse during the awards dinner and on our department website.
All of the proceeds of “The Oaks Corners Classic” is used to purchase new (and much needed) fire and emergency medical services equipment, and provides opportunities for the men and women of our department to attend various specialized training activities and seminars. The Oaks Corners Fire Department provides fire suppression and specialized rescue operations to the citizens of the eastern third of the Town of Phelps and provides emergency medical services in the form of “First Responders”, who respond to those people who may require medical care until the arrival of a transporting ambulance. All of our members are proud to serve our community and donate our time and energy to those who need our assistance!
