Whatdo I need to do to use the system for the first time?
You need to register your account. In order to help you remember to do this, a pop up window will generate on the upper left corner of the screen that says: “In order to reset your password, don't forget to register your account by clicking the Password Reset Button.”
Just click on the sixth menu itemon the right with the padlock icon for “Password Reset.”
Type in your active directory login name as your “userid” (the same login name you use to log in to your computer and Outlook), and enter the password you use for your computer and Outlook in the “password” area.
How do I turn in a service request?
The new ticket management system makes it very simple to create a work order. As you create your request, the system generates a work order and assigns it to the appropriate group based on the issue.
To request a service, begin by opening a web page and typing in the address line:
and then hit enter.
You will see this screen:
Click on Service Catalog on the black menu bar to open the log-in page.
You will see this screen:
Click on the appropriate request and a list will populate.
How do I track a service request?
Once your Service Request has been resolved, you will receive an email stating that the issue has been resolved. You may also click the Home button to see a full list of your requests or to check the status of any request.
What IT Services are available?
This screen demonstrates what populates when you click the “IT Services” menu button. These are broad categories that are narrowed when selected.
For example, this is the “sub-category” for “Telecommunications.”
What SMS Data services are available?
Again, go to the “Home” screen. Select “SMS Data – Chancery Help Desk” to populate your options.
You will see the following subcategories:
And you can make your choice from within those.
If I get stuck, what should I do?
- Click on the “help” button on the top right of the screen.

When I’m finished with my service request, what do I do?
It’s important that you sign out of your session. Just click “Sign-Out” in the top right corner.
