Press Release N° 4

NUMEROUS NEW PRODUCTS AT ENADA ROME 2014

The gaming and amusement world continues to propose

highly technological product innovations

Roma, 13th October 2014 – It’s a world in a continuous state of ferment, which combats the crisis with technological innovation. The game and gaming sector, on show at Fiera di Roma from October 15th to 17th, doesn’t relinquish its leading role and entrusts the experience of the key trade expo, ENADA, with the task of highlighting the new products on show in the best possible way. Here, in brief, are some of the most important ones, provided directly by the exhibiting firms.

ALBERICI Spa is participating in ENADA Rome with the completely renewed ranges of Cross-change machines and Coin changers. Not only new models, but also interesting improvements to the existing machines in terms of security and reliability. Pocket CC: a new compact Cross-change unit with excellent performance. Like a strongbox, it stands up to any tampering attempts thanks to its eleven equidistant reinforced internal bars and a sturdy ring for the tamper-proof padlock. Ready for wall mounting and for a security chain. Thanks to the availability of modular extensions, the machine’s capacity can reach 4,000 mixed coins and 500 banknotes. Hira CC: The first desk-top Cross-change unit, able to combine good changing capacity with really compact dimensions. Can be wall or stand mounted. New products also among the components and accessories: Sector: a new system of modular extensions for hoppers (available in two basic modular versions, measuring 100 and 75 mm respectively) which enables to considerably increase machines’ capacity. The extension was designed and manufactured in order to avoid the weight of the coins burdening the hopper’s chain or agitator, combining great capacity with minimum output stress.

From ELMAC there’s GO GO PONY: a wonderful interactive Kiddie Ride, with a 19” LED display and complete with WINKIDDY for the distribution of loyalty tickets. Kiddies can interact with the game, moving the reins to get the pony to turn left or right and collect gold stars, accumulating points and thus obtaining extra game time. Pulling the reins, on the other hand, they can make the pony jump the various obstacles along the route. Pressing the luminous button, positioned in front of the small player, increases the pony’s speed, making the game much more exciting. There are up to 3 different themes on which to try their skill and up to 8 bold cavaliers with which to ‘venture’ (Kelly, Duke, Flory, Barry, etc.). All this is offered in completely random mode by the CPU. Moreover, thanks to a link with another unit, kiddies can engage in real challenges, even with their parents.

Brescia company FARO GAMES will exhibit new successes in the amusement world, starting with “Comma 7” machines. In exclusive for Italy, there’s “Lost Land Adventure”, a two-player Bandai Namco videogame with a cabinet equipped with a dome screen on which the game is projected, enabling players to enter various environments with enemies to beat and enigmas to solve. Alongside this new product, there are “Super Alpine Racer” and “Deadstorm Pirates Special Edition”: launched on the market very recently, they are already populating arcades all over Italy. Passing to another exclusive brand, this time on the ticket redemption front, from Universal Space there’s Bunny Pond, which follows up on the success of Squirt a Gator and Ducky Splash, also suitable for arcades for small kiddies. From US firm Ice, another exclusive brand, there’s Whack ’n’ Win, the hammer game where players’ ability to gauge the strength of their hits is rewarded. An extremely successful machine in the Unites States, Fishbowl Frenzy, distributed by Faro games in Italy, will attract the curiosity of all arcade owners who try it. However, the great news is the introduction of a new type of amusement, entirely dedicated to kiddies, for locations in which it is necessary to add something extra, as well as videogames and redemption games.

We’re talking about Kiki Fun machines, with a touch screen and a selection of educational, skill and design games that enable kiddies to learn while enjoying themselves. To round off the range of games, there will also be a preview of the new “Playbox” catalogue, by means of which it will be possible to choose and request the set-up for the playground area most suited to the space at owners’ disposal, modifying each single element according to specific requirements.

At the Rome expo, IGT, leader in the vending sector with licensed products, will propose important new items as far as both licenses and products are concerned, having acquired two very important new licenses: “Despicable me”, undisputed cinema box office blockbuster, and “Mia & Me”, a new license from the creators of the Winx. There will be presentations of the spinning tops of Hot Wheels, the Yo Yos of Superfriends DC, the Barbie Bags and the key rings of “Despicable me”. In short, new products for all tastes!

For several years, MGR has tried to ensure clients the best possible stool – based on four important requirements: quality, comfort, value for money and functionality. The products can all be customized, with clients’ logos, as well as a variety of particular finishes, precisely to be suited to every client and every type of budget. However the “plus” is the comfort: a slot machine works from 12% to 15% more if it has a more comfortable stool, which can rise to 25% more than a machine that doesn’t have a stool in front of it.

SPECIAL GAME is counting on two product previews. Sea Adventure is a two-player video redemption game which could be described as a very soft (water) shooter game, also suitable for kiddies. The game, which is very amusing for all age groups (parents included), consists in using small canons to shoot jets of water at sea monsters that appear on the monitor, managing at the same time to hide from their anger. A monitor is also the distinctive feature of the interactive kiddie ride Crazy Horse, in which, using the reins, kiddies can make the horse move, galloping in sync with the images displayed.

In Rome this year, TECNOPLAY will take part with a substantial number of new products for the domestic market, but also with some previews of products intended for the foreign market. SEGA is showing the new Transformers, which has a glorious summer to its credit. The SEGA game was a blockbuster as far as revenue was concerned this summer. StormRacer and Storm Rider were also approved and widely tested on the summer market, with excellent results. A new product from the “mobile” game world is Plants vs Zombies: a videmption game for the rest of the world, while for Italy a simple videogame with the possibility of sharing results on the social networks. Plants vs Zombies will be able to offer arcade owners the possibility of creating an ad hoc zone with the Sega shooting game “Whack’a game” dedicated to zombies and prizes dedicated to the same brand. Moreover, the prizes will have (on their labels) game codes that can be used in the shooting game, to obtain bonuses. STERN will surprise visitors with yet another explosive license: The Walking Dead, the television series, now at its 4th season, has become an international legend and, in the capable hands of STERN’s designers, has been transformed into an exceptional pinball machine dedicated to the world of zombies. Lastly, TECNOPLAY is presenting the definitive version of two products the “beta” versions of which had already been previewed in Rimini: SING BOX and MINI MOTOR RACING SING BOX is already distributed all over Italy. The video juke box with option karaoke-videogame has already faced the market test and the response has been more than positive. As was the case with the dance game; before taking off, karaoke for public venues has to “break the ice” of users’ initial timidity when singing in public, which doesn’t last long: all the units installed around Italy are showing that singing is a passion shared by the majority of Italian clients. The definitive version of MINI MOTOR RACING has finally arrived, complete with video redemption version, obviously dedicated to the foreign market. Compared to the version seen at ENADA Rimini, the definitive version has countless additional contents and the possibility of connecting up to 3 machines, with a total of 6 players. As well as the obvious fascination of a ticket version that makes the game even more exciting.
