BLING YOUR BIKE

A big WELL DONE to all our children and families who took part in our “Bling Your Bike” Competition. This term our Cycle Ambasadors chose “Under the sea” as our theme. The entries were incredibly creative and artistic.

Please visit our website at to see photographs of the entries and find out the winning bike and winning scooter!

CHARLTON WALK ART PROJECT

During recent community consultation, residents told Big Local Gateshead that they wanted to see improvements made to Charlton Walk Park. To kick start these improvement plans, we have commissioned an artwork to transform the look of the wall adjoining the railway within the Park. 10 children from Kelvin Grove have been chosen to help create the artwork. We are gathering inspiration for what should be included in the designs.

This is where we need your help.

  • Do you have old or new photographs of Teams?
  • Perhaps a story to tell?
  • Do you remember how Charlton Walk used to be, the people who lived here or interesting things that happened?
  • What do Charlton Walk and Teams mean to you?

If you are happy to share these please send your thoughts, photographs and stories to Mrs Hann.

SAINSBURY’S ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHERS
