Seminar Description
Information design is the science and art of creating information products with the highest level of usefulness.
In this seminar, you’ll learn how the principles of information design can help you improve your print and online documentation. The format for this seminar includes classroom discussion, case studies and problems, and hands-on experience in a computer lab.

Facilitator
Todd Shimoda, Assistant Professor
Information Science and Technology Center, Colorado State University
Todd has worked in environmental and municipal engineering, technical writing and editing, educational technology, and health communication. Currently at CSU, he teaches information design, Web design and management, technical writing and editing, science writing, and technology transfer. His main research at CSU is developing and testing highly interactive Web sites, using intelligent agent technology for science and health education. He is published in journals such as Science Education, Journal of Environmental Psychology, International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Education, and Journal of Experimental. He has also published two novels.

Instructions for Paying by Credit Card

When you pay by credit card, you must submit your payment by April 16. Likewise, any request for a refund must be made by April 16, and will be subject to penalty not to exceed the amount charged to STC RMC to process the refund.
