The following procedures must be followed for all Junior (Minor) members of Alberton Football Club:
a)All junior players brought to the Club for training or matches must be left with the Team Manager/Coachand be in their control for the duration of training/match times only all children are to be collected timeously after training and matches.
b)If the Legal Guardian or the appointed representative arrives at the Club for training and/or matches and no coach is available, then the guardian or representative must either wait for the coach to arrive or, if the coach manager is not present, then the parent or guardian must take the child home. At no time must the Minor be left at the club to his/her own devices.
c)Without this compliance being signed by the Legal guardian, the child will not be admitted to Alberton Football Club.
d)The Club is not responsible for the transport of members to and from other venuesand/or training sessions.

We hope that you will have a wonderful soccer season with us.
This letter serves as a brief introduction to the club, as well as the 2014 Junior Committee members:

All our Committee Members, Coaches and Managers assist purely on a voluntary basis and give up their time and effort with NO FINANCIAL rewards.
The kitchen and bar are run privately.Please contact the manager (Tammy or Jodie) if you have any constructive suggestions/comments.
Your subscription fees cover the cost of kit, balls, equipment, referee’s fees, player’s cards, subs to Easterns, trophies, and a contribution towards field maintenance and markings, general repairs, etc.
Each player will be issued with a pair of socks for matches – they do not have to be returned and should you require an additional pair, please purchase from the clubhouse. The coach /or manager will be responsible for the shirts, shorts and players cards for their team.Please ensure that your child/children always have his/her soccer boots and shin pads with them for all training sessions and matches.
In order for your child to be registered and receive their card timeously, clearance needs to be obtained from their previous club, if applicable. The clearance must be obtained by the Legal Guardian and handed to the Registrar.
Sponsorship in any shape, size or form is always welcome - should you be able to provide the club with assistance in this matter, please contact any of the above committee members who would gladly assist you in following the correct procedure. Similarly should you wish to offer your time and effort to assist the club in any way, this too will be greatly appreciated.
We are looking forward to an enjoyable and successful season with you and your child/children.

PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT
Play the game because you want to and because you enjoy football.
Learn the laws governing the game.
Play the game by the laws, which govern the sport.
Abide by the referee’s ruling, not your own or fellow players and spectators.
Respect your opposition and play to win, fairly.
Control your temper and language.
Follow the instructions of the coach and not the spectators/parents.
Attend all matches and practices where you are requested to do so,at the proper times.
Do not criticize or abuse fellow players – remember, you’re on the same side.
Abide by the decisions of the coach without dissent.
Support Alberton FC to the best of your ability.
Help to maintain and look after Alberton FC facilities at all times.
Respect other Clubs and their rules and regulations.
Be proud to play for ALBERTON FOOTBALL CLUB.
Wear the Alberton FC colours with pride both on and off the field of play.
PARENTS CODE OF CONDUCT
Endeavour to praise effort and performance more than the result.
Praise good behaviour quickly to show that you value it.
Assist the coach with discipline whereyour child is concerned.
Help your child to understand the laws and how to play by them.
Show respect for the opposition as well as your own team - applaud both for good play.
Refrain from verbal or physical abuse of the match officials and the opposition.
STAY OFF THE PITCH - during games and practice.
Do not coach from the sidelines or shout at players if they make mistakes.
Do not criticize the coach - rather speak to him/her directlyafter the match/practice or put it in writing.
Enjoy watching the game regardless of the result.
Support Alberton FC whenever possible with all its functions.
Help the players to arrive on time for all practices and games.
Abide by the decisions of the coach and Alberton FC concerning football.
Help to maintain and improve Alberton FC and it’s facilities.
Make sure all fees and obligations are up to date.
No alcohol may be consumed on the side of the playing field in any form of Junior Football Match.
All spectators must at all times, stand a minimum of 2metres away from the side of the field (when possible).
Any parent, player, coach or supporter that brings the club into disrepute will be held accountable for their actions as well as any fines incurred.
Any coach that is in need of a player from a team in a lower division due to injuries, sickness or absenteeism will be allowed to call upon such player needed for the benefit of the team in the higher divisions as deemed necessary by the coach.

The overall responsibility lies with the Governing Body, i.e. for the infrastructure of the club, parking, security, buildings, fields, etc.
Committee deals with the football section.

Please remember that our club is a non-profit organisation and committee members, coaches and managers are all on a voluntary basis and do not receive any reimbursement.
