1 To install an aumbry in the side chapel in an existing space in the wall

Restoration & Conservation to East Wall Paintings - AA 28/2/2017

1 To continue the restoration and conservation to the Chancel wall paintings from the apex to the bottom of the window arch

2 Gentle clean with soft brushes and where possible with de-ionised water, in a candy floss motion to remove as much dirt and cobweb as possible without further damage to the surface

3 Consolidate through Japanese paper when necessary, using Plextol B500. Lay any curling flakes with a spatula, heated if necessary.

4 Surface residue will be removed with water and/or acetone. Allow to dry.

5 Infill large areas of paint loss with light tone grey pigment such as davies grey, perhaps with some whiting added and bound in B72.

6 Re-introduce decoration to loss using matched pigment colour bound in malt vinegar

7 Fix areas of loss with B72 20%. Allow to dry. Matt; Re-oil gild loss where necessary

8 Application of a thin coat of 'B72' (3-5% by volume in white sprit) clear varnish to help revive, refresh and protect the whole.

9 The small canvas will be cleaned with 'Synperonic N' in de-ionised water, neutralised, allowed to dry and protected with a B72 barrier prior to colour/gilding restoration as above

Tea Parlour for Lady Chapel - AA 6/3/2017

1 To obtain a lease by faculty for the creation of a tea parlour to be located in the Lady Chapel

2 Lady Chapel: Construct free-standing stud wall (2500mm high) to protect original wall covering on two sides. This will be constructed of CLS timber and covered on the internal side only with PVC Food Safe white walling panels

3 Construct free-standing stud wall (2500mm high) on two sides to segregate Tea Parlour from Kitchen Pod. This will be constructed of CLS timber and covered on the internal side with PVC Food Safe white walling panels and T&G panelling on the outside.

4 The T&G will be stained dark wood colour to match existing wood panels in Lady Chapel. Beams will be used to link the tops of the stud walls and to provide rigidity.

5 Remove floor covering in Kitchen Pod for food safety regulations. (Floor covering in Tea Parlour to remain carpeted. The suitability of the current floor covering will be subject to review once trading commences.)

6 Construct counter area as per kitchen pod with a height of 900mm as per standard counter top height

7 Fit door locks to doors at both ends of Lady Chapel (North Transept)

8 Fit etched-effect vinyl signage to doors

9 Kitchen area: Replace original sink unit with a double sink to satisfy food safety standards

10 Replace existing cooker unit with domestic dish-washing machine

11 Make provision for supplying 2 Number electric cookers in Kitchen Pod - 2x 30Amp electrical supplies required in kitchen pod and the cabling route to be agreed between installer and committee prior to installation

Churchyard Wall Repairs (List B Matter) 23/3/2017

1 To undertake remedial repairs to the west boundary wall

2 Remove the tree and carefully excavate the root bole

3 Carefully dismantle the wall over a 4.5m length

4 Rebuild the wall plumb on the original base course, using the salvaged stonework to match the existing coursing; use a suitable lime bedding and pointing mortar

5 Build in weep-holes at the base of the wall to relieve any ground water pressures

Removal of Existing Organ & Installation of Floor to take New Organ 30/3/2017

1 To remove the existing organ, make good of Vestry area to provide a meeting space, install mezzanine floor above to take the Organ pipes, install refurbished organ console and build a new casing from reclaimed wood

2 Dismantle existing organ and remove any parts required

3 New Organ to have direct electric action throughout and to consist of 7 basic ranks of pipes over two manuals and pedal' Swell, Great and Pedal organs to be positioned on a newly constructed mezzanine floor with console below on a new mobile platform

4 New console will be located within the Chancel under the organ on the north side and able to be moved across to the south side as required

5 To use existing church timbers and redundant organ casework to be recycled and used in the design of the new organ casework

6 Retain display pipes of the redundant organ and modify their lengths as required for new design; re-spray pipes in gold

Stained Glass Window 30/3/2017

1 To design and install a new stained glass window to mark the 50th anniversary of the rebuilding of the church in 1967 destroyed by fire in 1963

3 Paint chalk slurry onto the underside of the lead

4 Allow for all hollow core rolls and dress into the gutter at the eaves and redress the damaged lead bay adjoining the new lead

5 Supply and fix a new section of 300mm wide by 2m long, code 7 sand cast lead over flashing, chased into the abutment and pointed to seal

6 Form a new lead ridge vent over the existing timber frame with code 7 sand cast lead to match the existing and supply a small section of timber where missing
