The Executive Board meeting started at 1105 on 7NOVEMBER 2013.
Old Business: None discussed

New Business:

  1. Discussion ensued regarding the President, Gene Griffin resigned-VP Mike Brown took over until a President could be selected. LtCol Steven Minkin volunteered to take the position and was elected by quorum at our November Luncheon. Introduced LtCol Minkin to the ASMC Aloha Chapter Executive Board.
  2. Discussion regarding where all the President equipment/documentation is located.
  3. Gene Griffin dropped all the equipment/continuity to Mike Brown prior to going on leave. All is in the storage room at PACAF/FM.
  4. Inventoried after the meeting by Ms. Provine, Mike Brown, LtCol Minkin and Regina Torosian.
  5. Discussed Aloha Chapter Holiday Party:
  6. Ms. Provine booked the Kaneohe O’Club for 6 December. contract is in place. Contract menu read.
  7. TEKSOUTH-Joshua will give Microsoft training to the Chapter at the Holiday Party.
  8. Members will receive membership appreciation discount on luncheon.
  9. Need Holiday Party Lead-VP’s to ask for a volunteer and give us a name NLT next Friday.
  10. Amount of $1500 approved by Exe Committee for the Holiday Party. Subsidize $10.00 a member or whatever the Holiday Committee decides within the $1500 approved amount. Club needs a $200.00 deposit by next Friday. Mr. Brown will charge on his credit card and get reimbursed by ASMC Aloha Chapter.
  11. Discussion of Scholarship Program, amount to be approved. Discussion regarding amount, more research to ensue. Will vote next meeting.
  12. Community Service-Do we still have the road for Adopt A Highway. Lt Bacallo to research and advise clean up date of 7 Dec.
  13. Treasury Balance is at $13,700.00. Amount of $4,500.00 cleared for last year’s scholarship. Need a new bank signature card signed by Lt Col Minkin, Mr. Brown, and Fay Miller-Beasley.
  14. Discussion regarding PO Box and mail pickup. Ms. Provine to pick up. Need to turnover key to Lt Col Minkin. PO Box payment due 11-30-13.
  15. Luncheon to be held at JR Rockers with BGen Gregory (ret), as our speaker. Need volunteers to take $$ at the door and run the raffle. VP’s to distribute info to members.
  16. Community Service discussion: Currently we participate in Food Bank, Adopt a Highway, and Toys for Tots. Previously we participated in Habitat for Humanity; Make a Wish, Special Olympics, and Easter Seal (Taste of Honolulu)examples of previous participation.
