Right now, Valley Proteins is hiring an experienced Treasury Operations Manager in our Corporate Office.This position is responsible for providing effective management and leadership to the Treasury Operations functions, which includes payroll, employee benefits, workers’ compensation insurance, property and casualty insurance and contract oversight.

Responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop and retain an effective Treasury Operations team in each area of responsibility to support the organization and appropriate internal client needs.
- Manage the professional business relationships with vendors to foster long-term strategic relationships that benefit the company.
- Provide appropriate oversight to corporate payroll, insurance administration and treasury.
- Manage proper payments of principle and interest per debt obligations, oversee covenant compliance of debt arrangements, maintain current and future lease arrangements, manage cash investments/returns and daily cash requirements.
- Assist in the coordination of the placement of corporate insurance policies, assist in the review and management of company benefits, including the proper handling of all workers’ comp and auto liability claims.
- Perform required financial analysis as required in all areas of responsibility, including annual forecasting and periodic updates.
- Insure property payment and collections per contract terms, analysis of trends and projections and assist in the completion of daily and monthly accounting tasks.
Requirements:
To qualify, you must have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field; candidates who are Certified Public Accountants or hold any other related certification preferred. In addition, here’s why we know you’ll be the right fit for this role:
- You have at least five years of experience in a professional business environment with at least three of those years spent in a leadership role, whether in finance, accounting or treasury.
- You have a successful track record in all functional areas and relevant supervisory experience.
- You have extensive cash and investment management experience plus banking relationship management.
- You have the ability to build effective business relationships with all levels in the organization.
- You have advanced skillsin MS Office (Excel, Access and Word).
