Southwest Parking Garage:

Located just inside the Canal St. gates to the main campus, which is approximately 200 feet past the Exxon Mobile gas station. Drive up the hill and the garage will be to the right. Parking is available for a flat rate of $25 per day. Cars must be moved out of the garage by no later than 6:00 am the following morning. Please note that the garage only accepts cash payments.

Leavey Center Parking Garage:

From Reservoir Rd., turn into Entrance 1 and follow to the Leavey Hotel and Conference Center. Drive past the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and turn downhill. The parking garage will be on the left.

From Canal St., drive up into the main campus and straight up the hill past the football stadium. The parking garage should be on the right.

Parking is available for a flat rate of $25 per day. Cars must be moved out of the garage by no later than 6:00 am the following morning.

Hospital Parking Garage:

From Reservoir Rd., turn into Entrance 1 and follow to the Leavey Hotel and Conference Center. Drive straight past the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and right in front is the entrance to the parking garage.

From Canal St., drive up into the main campus and straight up the hill past the football stadium. Continue to the top of the hill and turn left. Drive past the Leavey Hotel and Conference Center. The garage should be on the right.

Street Parking:

Street Parking around campus is limited and strictly enforced by the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) and Department of Public Works. Most streets require a Zone 2 residential permit issued by the District of Columbia for parking longer than two hours. A limited number of metered spaces are available on Reservoir Rd., 37th St., and Prospect St. We highly recommend public transportation.

Verbally ask to be dropped off at Entrance 3. Do not get dropped off at Entrance 1, since it is the hospital entrance.

Public Transportation:

Unfortunately, there is no Metro (subway) stop near campus. However, there is a Metro Bus (D6) that stops on Reservoir Rd and the Georgetown Medical School. Need exact change to ride the bus or purchase a SmartTrip pass. The D6 bus stop can be found near the following metro stations: Dupont Circle (redline) on 20th St. and New Hampshire Ave.; Metro Center (redline) on 13th St. and G St.; Farragut West (blue,orange, andsilverlines) on 17th(E) St. and I St.

Metro Bus Link:

There is a free Georgetown University shuttle service (GUTS bus) from the Rosslyn (blueand orangelines) and Dupont Circle (redline) metro stops. Additionally, the Law Center shuttle picks up close Union Station (redline) metro stop. During rush hour, the shuttles run every 5-10 minutes. Between 10am and 3pm, and between 6pm and 11:45pm, the shuttles run every 20 minutes.
