Reflective Teaching Portfolio (RTP)

Introduction: It is a good practice for a teaching practitioner to have reflection after the lesson. From reflection, you may gather experience and get ways to improve your teaching. This portfolio serves as a reflection guideline for your reference and record.
Be real and honest in filling this portfolio.
This RTP includes:
(i)Reflection of STP (300 words): three strengths, three weaknessesandthree improvements shown in later lessons;
(ii)Commentary of three teaching videos (300 words, i.e. 100 words for each video): one on self and two on classmates who are teaching the same subject (and one DVD/CD containing three teaching videos) (*please refer to the group list as arranged by the Subject Teaching instructor. The group list will be uploaded to EDUC website in due course for reference);
(iii)Concluding remarks (400 words): half of the content should focus on the improvement during the study, the other half on the further development; and
(iv)The lesson plans and the STPA Forms of the two lessons assessed by supervisors in STP (*this part is the attachment to the hardcopy of assignment submission. NO need to upload this part to HKBU Moodle);

- Reflection of STP
Based on the lesson observation results, list three strengths and three weaknesses of your performance. Then, write down your three improvements shown in later lessons.
- Commentary of three teaching videos
Based on the teaching videos, list the merits of teachings of yourself and your two classmates. Then write down the enrichment to your teaching competence.
