A VSI QMS and ISO 9001
Virginia Semiconductor has been manufacturing silicon substrates for over 25 years. Today this includes a wide variety of silicon wafers having virtually any specification as well as silicon-on-insulator (SOI) bonded wafers. The VSI Quality Management System (QMS) has been substantially changed recently to include many new features insuring customer satisfaction and product quality. One of the most important new features to the QMS is our ISO 9001 certified program. This program is the 2000 standard.
Steve Rogers, VSI Quality Control Manager, oversees all VSI QMS activities including ISO 9001, Gage Studies, Quality Policy, Quality Manual, Internal and External Auditing, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Internal and External Standards, Product Inspection, QMS Design and Implementation and many other activities.
