*We have placed our yearbook order for the end of the year, and there are only 57 yearbooks left before we are sold out. Anyone who has ordered a yearbook already, is guaranteed a copy, and a record of your purchase can be confirmed at the finance window. If you have not ordered a yearbook yet, we will sell books until all 57 copies have been sold. Don’t get shut out by waiting too long. Yearbook prices are now $120 with an ASB sticker, and $140 without one.

*Attention Juniors: UCI Cancer Research Institute is offering a six-week laboratory research opportunity for students interested in gaining experience in cancer research. The program is fully funded and runs fromJune 23rd- August 4th. Applications are dueMarch 3rdand can be found on the VHS website or in the College and Career Center.

*Seniors interested in attending Fullerton College's EOPS class, don't forget to turn your signed paperwork into the College and Career Center.

*Seniors- Financial Aid Applications are now open, make sure to get your application in early. Visit the College and Career Center for assistance.

*Seniors, as you are receiving your college acceptances, come to the College and Career Center and show your acceptance letters to Ms. Farrell so we can all share the exciting news!

*Are you interested in learning more about the ACT and SAT? Need help figuring out what test would be best for you? Come to Tiger UniversityMonday, February 6th at 7:30amin the College and Career Center to get more information on both the ACT and SAT.

*Santiago Canyon College will be on campusMonday, February 6thto help with applications. Please see Ms. Farrell in the College and Career Center, or stop by during lunch.

*Seniors still needing assistance with Financial Aid, representatives will be on campusMonday, February 6th, during lunch to answer any questions and assist with the application process.

*Still need Community Service hours? On Tuesday, February 7thyou can earn Community Service hours after school in the Counseling Office. Please see Mrs. Guy in the Counseling Office for details.

*Community Service Hours for Tynes Science Night are available to the first volunteers to sign up before February 17th. Tynes Science Night is on June 1st, 2017, and it will be a great opportunity for Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen to complete some necessary hours. For more information, contact Mr. Louie in the activities office.

*The library is kicking off its first annual Reading Challenge this week. Challenge yourself to read 25 books or more this year between now and January 2018. The forms and information are in the library. Please see Mrs. Millam for more details or go to the Library website at VHStigers.org.

*Attention Students: Please remember to wear appropriate clothing to school and follow the dress code at all times. All shirts, tops, shorts, and pants must be worn at an appropriate length, and clothing must not depict any inappropriate language or imagery. Inappropriate clothing will be confiscated and alternative clothing will be loaned. Thank you.
