Past President/Historian:Paula Aguilar, Webster University. Not present.

Treasurer:Kristel Schlemper, University of Missouri-Columbia. Account balance is $4,534.55. An account has been set up with PayPal (linked to our bank account), but setting it up tp receive payment is a bit more complicated, so it will not be ready for the 2014 annual conference. Ehren suggested a “soft launch” of credit card payments if we can have something in place by the conference.
NACADA Liaison:Joan Finder, Webster University. No report.
Vice President Membership:Ehren Oncken, University of Missouri-Columbia. Passed out membership report. We have 186 members from 31 campuses and 2 unaffiliated members.
VP Professional Dev. & Diversity:Joie Hendricks, Columbia College. Asked about posting articels to MACADA Facebook and Linked In accounts to generate traffic. She will ask Paula about access to Facebook and Twitter.
VP Programming:KarieStroder, Southeast Missouri State University. Defer to New Business.
Vice President Communications: Juli Panza, Missouri State University. Defer to New Business.
Central Representative:Jackie Schneller, University of Missouri-Columbia. No report.
St. Louis Representative:Brittany Neunuebel, University of Missouri – St. Louis. No report.
Southeast Representative:Tyrone Davidson, Missouri S&T. Feels a bit far from everything. Needs to get communication out to other institutions.
Southwest Representative:Jamie Schweiger, Missouri State University. Not present. Willing to volunteer as needed at conference.
- New and Continuing Business
- Open positions/Regional representatives
- Ehren proposed the following map of MACADA Regions: This would eliminate the North rep, and be a North-Central Representative position. The board approved the changes, and Ehren has agreed to write up a proposal for the membership to vote on at the annual conference.
- There was also some discussion about what the regional representatives are expected to do. We Christina read the working job description to review what is expected. Ehren suggested each representative reach out to schools in their region to recruit for the conference. Juli suggested contacting advising supervisors at different institutions to disseminate information. Once contact information is established, Ehren offered to maintain that information for the board.
