Dear Parents,
Zoolab visit
The children have had an opportunity to meet some exotic creatures today courtesy of “Zoolab”. Depending on the age group they will have learnt about the creatures lives or the environment from which they come. I’m sure the children enjoyed the sessions and if you wish to find out which creatures they saw please ask your child! If you haven’t sent your donation for this visit please do so as soon as possible. Thank you to George from “Zoolab” for his interesting talks and to Miss Agar for organising the day.
Year Three visit to Read Library
It was a very sad day on Thursday as the children in Year Three paid a final visit to the Library in Read by children from our school. We have worked closely with Jackie the librarian for many, many, years; she has supported the children and staff both at school and in the library and I would like to thank her for all that she has done for the children at our school. We all wish her all the best for the future.
Pupil Premium
There is extra funding available to schools called pupil premium funding this funding is available to the school if your child qualifies for free school meals, it’s important that you tell us – even if they take a packed lunch – as this enables the school to claim pupil premium funding
Full guidance is on the back of this newsletter. Please get in touch with Mrs Wade for the application form mentioned in the guidance.
