Invitation to the delineation workshop on OARs for EORTC 1308 ROAM - Meningioma trial
Venue: Zurich, Switzerland, October 23rd 2017.
Dear All,
At the next EORTC-ROG meeting in Zurich we will be providing the opportunity to participate in a free delineation workshop for OARs in the brain according to the guidelines provided in the EORTC 1308 ROAM - Meningioma trial.
This workshop is part of the delineation project performed by the RTT subcommittee of EORTC and has the complete support of the RTQA and the P.I. for the ROAM trial Damien Weber.
The aim will be to improve the quality and consistency of the delineation of OARs in the brain according to this trial protocol. We hope to reach an optimal consensus, on what and how the OARs should be delineated and, that the guidelines are sufficiently clear to enable this happen. This will provide a much stronger analysis when reporting on toxicity in this study.
Simultaneously, a questionnaire will be sent out to ROAM participating institutes to evaluate their benchmark case delineations.
The date for the workshop has been chosen for the Monday afternoon October 23rd, not conflicting with any other ROG workgroup meetings. Teacher will be Brian Haylock, P.I. for the ROAM trial already running in the UK.
The aim is to individually delineate 1-2 cases and have a plenary discussion on any difficulties or misinterpretations of the guidelines. Please bring your laptop!
The workshop is primarily intended for ROAM study participants but is also open to all ROG members. In many institutes the RTT delineates the OARs for the treatment plan and we would therefore particularly like to invite also RTTs to participate in this workshop. The delineation results will be compared for separate groups.
Please register before October 7th by sending an email to
and
Preparation material will be then forwarded to you.
