v Anam Cara, the national organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding its next monthly Parent Evening on Tuesday 13th of September from 19:30 to 21:00 in Recovery Haven, 5 Haigs Terrace, Killerisk, Tralee, Co. Kerry. This event is open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether the death was recent or not.

v Mercy Hospital Annual Raffle to raise funds to purchase equipment
that will help stroke patients. Over the coming weeks people all
across Cork City and County will dig deep to support The Mercy
Hospital’s Annual Raffle, which this year will raise funds to
purchase a new machine that will help stroke patients. If you would
like to buy or sell tickets on behalf of the Mercy Hospital

v Community Child Welfare Course: Community Child Welfare Course takes place on Thursday 15th of September at 7pm. This course is compulsory for all volunteers and supervisory persons of activities in the parish i.e. GAA, Parish Hall, Youth Club, schools etc. Numbers needed as soon as possible! €10 per person. v O' Keeffe Clan Gathering Weekend - Friday 9th to Sunday 11th of September. Friday 9th of SeptemberO'Keeffe Clan Gathering Weekend begins at Dromtariffe Parish Hall at 8pm. Admission is free.
Saturday 10th of September - there will be two bus tours of various
historical sites connected to the O' Keeffe Clan:
Bus Tour 1 - Site of Battle of Knockbrack, Dromagh Castle, Dromsicane
Castle, Drominagh Castle and Friary.
Bus Tour 2 - IRD, Chalice Tree, Mount Keeffe and Kanturk Castle.
Cost is €10 per tour per person. Both tours begin at 10am and again at
2pm.
O'Keeffe Clan Gathering Banquet will take place on Saturday
night in the Wallis Arms Hotel, Millstreet at 8pm. Cost €30 per person.
Sunday 11th of September-Mass will take place in the Hall at 12 noon.
