STATEMENT OF CONDITIONS

As a member of the GAHCC Board of Directors, you must agree to:

·  Participate in all GAHCC Board activities

·  Chair and be an active member of at least one other committee

·  Attend regular monthly Board meetings

·  Attend the Annual Strategic Planning Retreat

·  Attend any “Special Called” Membership Meetings

·  Attend the Annual Members Meeting

·  Recruit a minimum of five new members per year, including one corporate member

·  Raise a minimum of $2,000 revenue for the GAHCC per year (Excludes membership)

·  For year of 2012 only:
Commit a meaningful donation (can be over a two or three year period, depending on amount) to the GAHCC Capital Campaign

·  Serve a two year term

Board members are challenged to deal with policy decisions in the following areas:

·  Organizational goals and objectives

·  Quality programming

·  Strategies, policies and practices

·  Employment of the President/CEO

·  Employee personnel policies

·  Funding and approval of the budget

·  Development of strategic plan in accordance with government contracts
