BOARD OF TRUSTEES

BSLC SPRING CLEAN-UP There are many projects around the church that need to be addressed as the weather improves. The trustees are hosting a spring work day on April 6th from 8:00 am until noon. Most of the projects will be outdoors which will include some flower bed maintenance and planting. A light breakfast will be provided before work begins to make sure energy levels are high. Please contact any member of the board of trustees if you have a question or a project you would like considered. Thanks.

MLM CONGREGATIONAL SERVANT EVENT Come and serve people who are elderly and needy, in Jesus' name, on Saturday, May 4th from 8 am to 4 pm. We will be partnering with Metro Lutheran Ministries (MLM) to clean up yards and paint exteriors (first floor only) of people who are elderly or needy. Many of these persons have received notices from their city governments to improve the exterior of their homes. These notices have accompanying fines of $500-$1,000 which the residents cannot afford. You will not only be showing Jesus' love to our neighbors in need, but also reducing the stress in an elderly person's life. Contact Nathan Harkins at 913-669-6410 or if you have any questions. A sign-up sheet and release forms will be available in the narthex.
