SAME is Europe’s No.1, multi billion dollar, multi national company owning four major brands that is SAME, Deutz-Fahr, lambhorghini, Hurlimaan and deutz A.G. in agricultural machinery business. My job primarily involves to execute direct sales and sales through network of dealers established in the area of Punjab and adjoining areas of Himachal Pardesh. This includes selling directly to fleet owners as well as to customer of lower profile. This also includes execution of sales through a network of dealers and their sales team in order to achieve targets set for the growth of the organization.
Key Achievements
· Set up a completely new set up of dealers in the state to achieve the sales target in a market scene that is very tough for the tractor industry with no interest of trading community to go in for tractor business.
· Covered an industry of 70 % through a network of dealers, in an area which is seeing its worst phase as far as tractor industry is concerned
· Achieved sales targets for the very first year of establishment ,with a growth of nearly 20% over the set target.
· Opened a completely new way of selling tractors through an innovative idea of first hand experience of the owner for the tractor.
· Established alliance with pesticide company to carry out promotional campaigns in an economical way.
· Generated the highest number of new dealer accounts in a state in the year 2003.
2000-2002 Escorts Ltd.
Area manager ( Sri ganga nagar)
Managed a set of dealers as well as sales team which carried out a business of about 25 crores for the company. In a very tough market scene where the industry was dwindling and sales were getting low day by day. This was decreasing the interest of dealers in the business.
Key Achievements
· Carried out complete cost benefit analysis of all the dealerships, thus generating their interest in the business when they felt that even the company cares for their profits too. Suggesting them ways of cutting on unwanted costs
· Made a model for dealership where in dealership could be run at the minimum cost for years together even if there was not much of business because of factors beyond their control.
· Made a few new dealers to tell the present set of dealers that there will be business, even if they could not sustain.
· Achieved the highest ever share of market in the area for the escorts.
· All the dealers except one came out with a positive balance sheet at the end of financial year.

Managed a set of dealers who were quite experienced and were leaders in a market for quite long and thus had established some traits with time where in they were not able to do much according to changed market scene. Handled a business of about RS 100 crores for Escorts.
Key Achievements
· Convinced them about the threat from new players with their aggressive ideas thus made them realize that if they will not work fast they may not be the leader or in the market at all for very long.
· Made a few new dealers in areas that were not very well represented by present set of dealers. It worked to advantage in two ways, one it gave us more business through new dealers second it worked as carrot and stick policy for old set of dealers.
· Appointed new set of salesmen at all the dealerships along with old teams to demonstrate them the difference in advantages of working with new methods.
· Carried out training for all the sales team as well as dealers to sharpen their selling techniques.
1996-1999 Escorts ltd
Assistant manager ( Jabalpur)
On the completion of initial training of one year from 1996-97 I was placed as asstt. Manger sales in Jabalpur area office. Where in after one year I was entrusted upon the duties of area manager in absence of regular area manger.
Key Achievements
· Became the youngest person in tractor industry to head an area office with independent charge.
· Achieved the highest volume of sales as assistant manager in whole of India.
· Achieved the highest growth in market share.
· Became the youngest area manger and was appointed to one of the most important area of Agra for Escorts.

About myself
I was born on July 13, 1974. I have interest in reading, traveling and writing. Played badminton and ran 1500m for state sports. Remained active participant in speakers’ forum, scientific study circle and presided over them at different times in the university. I am married and have one son.
