Food for Christmas Hampers.
Last year we distributed 20 hampers in the parish. All were gratefully received. We begin our collection again this year and would ask that you regularly lift an extra item during your weekly shop and then pop it in the basket at Carginagh and the trolley at Christ Church. Non-perishable items only can be accepted. Items suitable for families and for those living alone too would be great. We will leave the basket and trolley in place until Sunday 16th December.

Welcome the Crew!

As you know we have 3 young women, Nicola, Grace and Ramina on the Crew at Jims this year. Please continue to pray for them as they work with our young people here in Christ Church and in the wider community. If you could invite them for a meal – Sunday lunch for example that would be great, we want to be hospitable and care and share with the Crew!

Walk Cornwall 2

A second walk is being planned for the summer of 2013. Mervyn Nugent is encouraging us all to pray seriously and consider getting involved in this mission event.
