Students will compare each portrait to their own imagine of “el alcalde” from the story “Un dia de estos by Garcia Marquez” / Students will continue making connections between famous art and literature. Student will write a short essay using vocabulary from the story. / Students will receive a copy of the story “Un dia de estos” Students will read the story on their own. Students will complete sustained silent reading report.
