Course aims:
To give learners an appreciation of the remarkable history of the Crystal Palace, the first and finest exhibition in the world
Course description:
This lecture covers the history of the Crystal Palace from its origins as the building that housed the Great Exhibition of 1851, its transfer to Sydenham and its ultimate demise in the fire of 1936.
