Elmhurst Woman Sentenced to 20 Months for Health Care Fraud
The Department of Justice announced the sentencing of an Elmhurst, IL woman on her conviction for health care fraud and a kickback scheme. Merigrace Orillo was sentenced to 20 months in federal prison for her role in a scheme that involved Chalice Home Healthcare Services, Inc., which she co-owned and operated in Illinois. Orillo has also been ordered to pay $744,481 in restitution to the Medicare Trust Fund. Read the full press release here:
