Orientation:An orientation program is organized each semester before the start of classes. Details will be provided by the International Office.

Nomination: The exchange coordinators of the partner institutions nominatethe selected exchange students in the MOBility Manager online system (MOB) of CorvinusUniversity, observing the deadlines and instructions received from the International Office.

On-line Nomination Period:for Fall 2011, Fall+Spring: April 2011.

Registration:Once nominated, the exchange students receive an e-mail containing instructions and the login information to the on-line system. They complete their online registration (entering their personal data) in MOB system and select courses in Neptun system by the given deadline (see table). The course registration works on a first come, first served basis.

Housing Options:CorvinusUniversity does not provide accommodation in the university's dormitories. However, the International Officedoes provide information and assistance to exchange students on how to rent a flat (apartment) in the city. The International Office has contacts with a number of individual owners (renting both whole flats and rooms) along with a list of real-estate agencies.

Visa:As soon as applications are processed, the International Office sends an information letter to the students with further practical information, along with a Letter of Acceptance (only to the non EU/EEA citizens), which may be necessary when applying for a ‘visa for residence permit’ or grants in the home country. The documents are generally posted to the home university coordinator.

Health Insurance:Exchange students are requested to purchase health insurance in their home country.

Estimated Cost of Living:Monthly rents range from around EUR 250 – 400 /month/person, depending on the size and location of the flat and on the number of students sharing it.

Food, transport, miscellaneous:EUR 200 – 400 per month.

Books, student ID, photocopying, etc:EUR 50 – 100 per semester.
