About the course
Participants will gain understanding of customary law rules (written and unwritten) which have developed from the customs and traditions of communities. Furthermore, participants will learn the extent in which customary law is recognised by the South African Constitution; and the application of customary law by the courts.
Courses conduct and facilitators
These e-course are conducted online and all communication is done via the e-learning platform (e-LEADer). The training is intensive and demanding and requires hard work and dedication. To enhance the learning experience, there is an online discussion platform where students can interact with other students. In addition, the course facilitator will be available online at times.
