Upcoming Events

Pony club relies on volunteers and not just the committee to help out at all the events. Committee members are volunteers if you are able to support the club at any of the events please contact Penny Ridley.

Outdoor Rallies – (May- Sept) –Taking place on the pony club field at Platting Lane. These rallies need to be booked in advance withJoanne Bradley to allow her to arrange the instructors. The cost is £25 in total to be paid at the February or March rally, late bookings not before April may result into the member missing the first outdoor rally in May due to not having enough instructors booked. The £25 you pay is for the Tuesday monthly rallies only and not for any other extra training you receive. Attendance at any other training must also be paid for in cash to the instructor.

Pony Club Quiz – The area PC quiz takes place on Saturday 20st Feb 2015 at Blackburn. Two teams will be taking part and quiz practice is well under way.

Try something new – Gemma Wooley will be organising these events that members can take part in. Please keep checking the website or the facebook page for further informationor alternatively speak to Gemma if you would like to attend.

AGM –The AGM was well attended and the committee would like to thank all the parents that found the time to attended and contribute to the meeting. If you were unable to attend and would like to be a committee member of then please contact Penny.

Membership –Please renew your membership before the end of February 2015 to be eligible to compete on any of the PC teams. Please contact Tracy Bleakley on 07703317012.

Please note the end of February is now the new date for membership renewals.

Combine training– Taking place at Birtle Riding Centre Bury on Tuesday 16th February £30. The day will cover a flat work and show jumping lesson. All abilities catered for limited places available. To book on please send booking slip (from the website) to Pat Dewhurst.

Hat Tags – If you haven’t had your hat tagged with the new white tag then please bring it to the February rally,your riding hats now need to be to the correct standard - PAS015:1998 OR 2011 with BSI kite mark or SNELL E20001 with the official Snell label and number

Ppc white stars - Olivia, Myla, Jess, Holly,Zac

Ppc black starts – Daisy, Elizabeth, Sophie, Alice, Harry

November 15 – Junior a 1st – Alice, Daisy, Sophie, Zac

Junior b – 4th – Harry, Millie, Hattie, Jack

Ppc – 2nd – Alice, Daisy, Olivia, Myla, Elizabeth

The winter league has started. If you are interested in joining any of the teams or just want to have a go please contact Gemma.
